Study Visit, Budapest, Hungary

Study Visit organised by the DemNet for the Topical Working Group Transparency, trustworthiness and effectiveness took place in Budapest, Hungary, on November 24-26, 2010. Experts dealt with issues of building transparency, increasing trust among public and donors; and fostering effectiveness of organizational performance. The discussions covered case studies, EFQM quality system and presentations by guests from the Hungarian Donors Forum, Provident, Hungarian Baptist Aid, Greenpeace, Nonprofit Information and Education Centre and Hungarian Interchurch Aid. The experts also participated in a workshop about accountability and measuring impact by a representative of the ImpACT Coalition.
